Natalie this is so great!! Your style is so much fun! I love your line work and detail! What did you do this in? The colors are working really well and its altogether a strong piece! I really don't think there's anything I'd change about it
Agreed, this is spectacular. I love the stylization of the skull that feeds throughout the composition. Great color palette and your linework is outstanding. I had to zoom in and get really nitpicky but I feel like the line on the cornucopiae is a little underdeveloped compared to the rest of the piece. Besidesthat, let me know when you've printed this on the towels because I want some.
Absolutely beautiful! The idea is well-conceived and just ambiguous enough to make it even more compelling. When you print them, be careful that you clean up your pencil guidelines. Also, there's something strange with the cobs of corn. There's grey on the right one but not the left. Maybe you want them more symmetrical?
I love this Natalie!! I think the colors are great, and I love all of the details you added to it - especially the lipstick and designs on the skull. The only problem I see is some of your leftover pencil lines and markings. I would just clean those up before you print. I want to buy one of these hand towels!
This is fantastic! I love the stylization and the color pallet. I agree with some of the other comments about the pencil lines. Also, there is a small grey smudge on the corn cob on the right side. Other than that I think you did an amazing job!
I will quote Jarom: "This is so cool! The colors are amazing, the linework is amazing, the texture is great. Personally, I kind of like the pencil lines. Very nice!" Seriously, it is very nice and I want one. The concept is really great and I love the execution. Fantastic. The only thing I might suggest is to make the skull a little bigger so there is greater size contrast.
Interesting, and good job at making the x stand out. The meaning behind the piece doesn't necessarily pop out to me. I do think this works really well and the colors are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteCool, cool designs on the skull and the corn!! and the flingy's on the corners of the piece help alot with keeping the eye in.
